Design of Governance structures, processes and policies

Governance is the main focus of our work, give you the framework for desiiotn making. While a strong board of directors may be necessary for running a complex family business, it is only one aspect of governance design. A well-functioning governance system includes all the structures, policies and processes that foster trust among key stakeholders - family, shareholders, board and senior management - and provide effective decision-making for the benefit of the business and Their owners.

Governance, that is, the mechanisms through which the owners exercise their powers of direction, responsibility and control over their company, is the most important component of our work.

While it is true that the management of a complex family business is normally supported by the figure of a robust Board of Directors*, this represents only one aspect of the design of a governance architecture. A well-coordinated governance system includes all the structures, policies and processes that, as a whole, generate commitment, unity and, above all, trust among the key members of the team (the family, the shareholders, the Board of Directors and the Senior Management), as well as how it optimizes the decision-making process for the benefit of the company and its owners
